1. Keep Chocolates Out of Paw\u2019s Reach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chocolate toxicity in dogs and cats tops the list of pet Valentine\u2019s safety concerns. And the darker the chocolate, the higher the risk. If your pup sneaks a truffle or two, don\u2019t wait for symptoms like vomiting, rapid heart rate, tremors, and seizures to appear.
